Chookshed Studio

Chookshed Studio is situated along the Finniss River near Batchelor in the Northern Territory, Australia. It got its name as it was built out of recycled materials from an old chook shed. It is solar powered and serves as a photographic studio, publishing house and guest accomodation. Jacinda is currently working and living in Diamond Creek, Victoria.

In 2007, Jacinda entered the Alternative Technology Association's, Sustainable sheds competition.  Our sheds, which include the 'Chook shed' were one of the 3 chosen winners.

Please note, the article makes out that they are my sheds, but ALL credit for the sheds goes to my partner George who is the master builder.  All I did, was write the article. What I can say is, I was the front page, centrefold of my favourite magazine!
